Tender Davit

The tender is launched over the port side by an aft mounted athwartships stowed Brower Systems model #WC1600 1,600-lb. rated full hydraulic davit with extension boom. It is rigged with "Dyneema" hoist in a single part makeup on linear winch system with polished stainless-steel weight and safety hook. The davit is operated in full power with luffing, slewing, hoist, and extension by a wireless handheld remote with dead man switch and emergency shutoff. Hydraulic power is provided by the central hydraulic system.
