BEOTHUK was designed by Vripack and built by Kuipers Shipyard Woudsend in the Netherlands. The design was carefully reviewed and included tank testing, wave pattern analysis, intact stability analysis and dynamic stability analysis in various load conditions. The Owner that built BEOTHUK had previously built an 84 foot Vripack Kuipers and had extensive input in BEOTHUK's design and contruction.

BEOTHUK embodies the spirit of an expedition yacht--rugged, reliable, and ready to venture into the world's most remote waters. But to call her merely "rugged" would overlook her strikingly elegant design and luxurious appointments that place her among the finest yachts on the sea today.

2021 - Entire Radio Zeeland DMP AMS system replaced with updated PLC RZ system based for ships monitoring.

It included new auto pilot, GPS 16 monitors, new Kwant gear controls, 2 VHF radios, Gyro compass, Navigation software, Steering system, cameras and camera monitoring. Camera switching system and Flir. Entire system is integrated and can be monitored from every TV point.
